Sakizo Artworks - IIby ~Cospoison

These cosplays are taken from the illustrations of the Japanese artist Sakizo (~sakizo on DeviantArt – or visit her website [link]).

From left to right:

Harriet (~suzaku3) as the Japanese lady (from the artbook “La Cirque”)
*Shu-Maat as Chou a là Créme (from the artbook “Girl Meets Sweets”)
Kinnara as Kouglof (from “Girl Meets Sweets”, too)

And here we are again with our Sakizo costumes, this time from the Japanese fair “NiMI Festival”, December 2012, in Florence, Italy. These are personifications of sweets (a creampuff and the kouglof cake) plus a strange Japanese lady who run away from a circus…
Though hard to make due to the high level of detail, tricky patterns and particular accessories, those costumes were such a fun to wear! ^^ We’ve also gained the Best Group award, wooo!

None of these illustrations was ever cosplayed before (as far as we know), so we’re happy to bring a little novelty in the cosplay scene!

During this event, we’ve had the privilege to shoot with some amazing photographers!!! *____* We hold particularly dear this beautiful picture from the talented ~stregatt0, and we recommend to visit his website [link] to see more of his photos from the festival!

Unfortunately, we were missing *Hana-May ç___ç but take a look at the previous photo to see another strangely dressed character! ^^
